Also H.I.D., Sodium lights emit red/yellow. An excellent choice when there is natural sunlight in addition to your hydroponic grow lights.

Finally, fluorescent lights provide some support for your hydroponic grow lights system, but generally, only in the very beginning. As a cost effective way to start seedlings, fluorescent lights can be useful, but only for a short time as quality is typically poor.
